I tell stories. Always have. As a kid, playtime frequently involved a story. My friends and I never just played catch, we were competing in the championship game. Bike rides around the neighborhood were epic quests to find lost artifacts and to defeat the monsters. I would run through the woods behind our house with a wooden sword, attacking giants (trees). I have found that mundane tasks get a little more bearable when framed inside a larger story.
I also believe in the power of the essay, of writing on a topic, getting thoughts down on paper. This is why I started my first blog, just to put my opinions on various topics out into the world. I hope to continue this here, but the main focus will be on my fiction work.
